A Special Message from A Clot to Remember
I invite you to join me in support the American Stroke Foundation “Stroke Walk and Roll”. The American Stroke Foundation mission is to empower stroke survivors and their families to overcome the challenges of life after stroke.
I wish my Father had the opportunity to visit the American Stoke Foundation after he had his Stroke. It’s amazing how quickly the hospital Care ends and there is still a lot of healing to do. I think he would have loved working with the therapist and the other stroke survivors. It’s a friendly supportive environment.
In August 2007, I suffered a massive stroke. I was 41 years old, in excellent health and had no prior symptoms. It was a surprise to me and my family. I was very lucky, I had my “Sista’s” and a very loving husband and the determination to do whatever it took to get my life back! It was not easy.
The American Stroke Foundation is a very important part of the Kansas City Community and I hope you will make a donation to my team! Thank you
Thank you for visiting A Clot to Remember page.
Through its Next Step program, the American Stroke Foundation helps adult stroke survivors reclaim hope and rebuild lives. If you know someone who has had a stroke, you know how hard that task is. Next Step programs are funded by people like you. So the Stroke Walk is very important to our participants and the communities we serve. For information about the program visit americanstroke.org.
A Clot to Remember would love to have you walk with us. If you’re not able to join us for the actual walk, you can walk virtually from wherever you are.
We appreciate all the support we can get! Together we can make a difference!
